About the Press

Diviset Solutions publishes a small number of books each year, written out of real experience and made to be kept.

We publish from Edinburgh. Some of our authors are priests, writing from the parish and from the long silence after a family stops coming to Mass. Others write about sleep, or marriage, or whatever they know at first hand and want to set down well.

What our books share is not a subject but a standard. Each one comes out of something lived rather than something studied at a distance, and each is made to last a reader longer than the week they bought it in.

We would rather publish a few books a year that someone keeps than forty that are read once and passed on.

How the books are made

Printed to order, posted worldwide

Printed to order

Every copy is printed when you order it, then posted to you. Nothing waits in a warehouse, and nothing goes out of print while somebody still wants it.

Edited properly

Each book is read closely before it is set, and the faith titles carry the approval of the author’s own superiors or the imprimatur of a bishop. What is printed has been stood behind.

Sold direct

Ordering from us puts far more of the price in the author’s hands than a marketplace sale does, and it is what pays for the next book.

Writing from what they know

Fr Charles Egbon, MSP

Fr Charles Egbon is a priest of the Missionary Society of St Paul. He holds a first-class degree in Philosophy and a degree in Sacred Theology from the National Missionary Seminary of St Paul, Abuja, Nigeria, an affiliate of the Pontifical Urbaniana University, Rome. He is currently reading for a Master’s degree in Psychology at the University of Wolverhampton.

Before entering seminary, he earned a Bachelor of Technology in Physics (Electronics) from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, and worked as a senior IT professional in Lagos, holding certifications in IBM AIX and HP-UX enterprise solutions. He left a successful career to answer a call to the priesthood and was ordained on 20 June 2015.

What Remains

Fr Mark Ehichioya Odion, MSP

Rev Fr Mark Ehichioya Odion, MSP, was born in Lagos, Nigeria, and was ordained to the Catholic priesthood on 7 July 2001 as a member of the Missionary Society of St Paul. He holds bachelor’s degrees in Philosophy and Theology, and master’s degrees in Christian Spirituality, in Criminology, and in Research Criminology. He is currently completing a PhD in Criminology.

His appointments have included Chaplain and Vice Principal of Christ the King College, Ijebu-Ode, Assistant Dean of St George’s Cathedral in the Archdiocese of Southwark, and Parish Priest of The Annunciation and St Augustine, Beckenham Hill, London. He was seconded to the office of the Independent Anti-Slavery Commissioner at the UK Home Office, contributing to work against modern slavery and human trafficking.

Charlie Dondous

Charlie Dondous is a sleep researcher who specialises in middle of the night insomnia. After 730 nights of 3 AM awakenings, he spent eighteen months studying circadian biology, sleep architecture, and evidence-based protocols. This book documents the system that finally worked.

He publishes through Diviset Solutions, an independent imprint based in Edinburgh, dedicated to practical books that solve specific problems at fair prices. He now sleeps through most nights, and helps others do the same through his books and the free resources on this site.
